I don't have any formal qualifications at all - just a few show rosettes!
I am seriously considering joining a 'Positively' training course though.
I do, however, have a lifelong empathy and understanding of dogs and I support and practise the 'Positive Reinforcement' techniques made popular by such 'dog-experts' as Victoria Stillwell.
I will take into account an individual dog's little ways and also the way the owner prefers their dog to be handled.
I WILL NOT, however, under any circumstance, or for any reason, strike/hit or otherwise physically discipline any dog. If that's how you roll, then I'm not the lady for you. I'd probably end up reporting you or something.
I've never found the need to beat any one of my dogs. Poor Charlie had been beaten which was why he was such a mess aged nine months.
